You found Freddy’s Homepage. You probably didn’t even wanted to but now it’s too late and you’re caught!

No, serious. What’s the matter of this homepage? There are two main reasons why I have this page. First of all - I really like taking photos and share some of them. The second reason is that I’d also like to share some of the electronics and computer related projects with the public hoping that someone has the same crazy ideas like I have and can use some of my work.

Some history - I’m having a homepage since 1998. My motivation has changed several times within this timeframe.

First I liked to have a homepage just to have one. Probably for technical play. This extended to a 100% dynamical homepage in 2001. Again just for playing. In 2004 it changed again to a somewhat puristic design, now tending already to the motivation which I still have today - share information, thoughts and photos.

As I am maintaining several professional home pages these days I am really not keen on keeping my personal homepage professionally. I stumbled upon iWeb which takes all the design-work from me and I can simply concentrate on the content. This is a great-loved contrast to some other very difficult and complex dynamic webpages I have created so far - and I hate designing websites.

These days I don’t need to prove myself anything regarding computing anymore. I know my strengths (programming) and weaknesses (design) in this area very very well and that’s fine with me.
